🛤️ SATAWU Statement on 2025/2026 Wage Agreement with PRASA

The South African Transport and Allied Workers Union (SATAWU) wishes to update its members, PRASA workers, and media stakeholders on the successful conclusion of the 2025/2026 wage increment negotiations. The process was finalized nationally on 18 July 2025, and on 24 July 2025, the union—led by General Secretary Comrade Jack Mazibuko—returned to the CCMA to provide feedback to PRASA management.

We are pleased to report that the meeting yielded positive outcomes, with both parties reaching consensus in line with the workers’ mandate.
